Job Description:
As a Theoretical Knowledge Instructor for Pilot Training, you will be responsible for delivering FAA / SACAA / TC / DGCA / PCAA theoretical knowledge subjects up to the ATPL level, ensuring that the students receive the highest standard of training.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Teaching Theoretical Subjects:
Deliver a wide range of subjects required for Pilot Training, focusing on FAA, SACAA, TC, DGCA, and PCAA syllabus requirements, up to the ATPL level.
2. Collaboration:
Work closely with the Chief Theoretical Knowledge Instructor to design, prepare, and manage training schedules, examination question banks, and any other tasks entrusted to you.
3. Exam Preparation and Evaluation:
Prepare, invigilate, and assess theoretical knowledge exams, ensuring they align with regulatory requirements and course objectives.
4. Monitoring Trainee Progress:
Track and report on the progress of students, providing timely feedback and identifying areas of improvement.
5. Training Advice:
Advise the organization on any training-related issues regarding students' performance, course structure, or regulatory changes.
6. Student Guidance:
Offer personalized support and guidance to individual trainees, helping them to succeed in their studies and career progression.
7. Course Training Records:
Maintain accurate, up-to-date training records for all students to track their progress and meet certification requirements.
8. Maintaining Discipline:
Ensure that students adhere to ground school rules, maintaining discipline and a professional learning environment.
9. Course Material Preparation:
Develop, update, and enhance course materials according to the relevant aviation regulatory syllabus (CAR - Civil Aviation Regulation).
Job Requirements:
To be eligible for the role of Theoretical Knowledge Instructor, candidates must meet the following requirements:
(A) Practical experience in aviation within the subject areas relevant to the theoretical training provided, and completion of a training course in instructional techniques.
(B) Prior experience in delivering theoretical knowledge instruction and possessing a strong theoretical background in the subjects to be taught.
(C) Certification requirements:
(D) Educational Requirement: Intermediate Graduate or higher.
(E) Civil Authority Approval: Hold approval as a ground instructor from the relevant Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).
